Dear Folks,
Went back on flight status at 8 pm yesterday. Ed Seacord flew one mission 8 pm to midnight. I was in the next plane getting ready for takeoff when they put us back on standby. Still on standby at this time.
I imagine by now you have heard a little about the ground operation taking place. I heard it mentioned on television last night.
Still cloudy and cool. Felt a little drizzle last night. I understand the monsoons have just ended here and have moved northward.
Guess I'll go get a Rice Paddy special. Slept right through breakfast.
