Dear Folks,

Got up here about 4:30 pm. We left Long Thanh about 2 o'clock. We're staying in the same hooch as before. The only difference is that they squeezed about 15 more bunks in here. There are about 25 bunks in this place now and all of them are occupied. I've got about a foot between my bunk and the one next to me. It's a real pig-sty. I was supposed to fly tonight at 9 pm but the mission was cancelled as usual. We're supposed to start flying again tomorrow night.

Spent the morning waiting for Triple zero to be ready for the radio banks. Boy, was that a hot job putting them in!

I got a package today that Gran sent. I've been playing with the yo-yo all day. I thing everyone thinks I've cracked up! Guess that's it for now. Don't know how long the mission will last. I think the officers are trying to find us a better place to live. Logged one mission coming up here. That's number 11.

Rick
