130 days to go

Dear Folks,

Fell asleep last night reading a book so no letter for the 15th. When I miss those evening letters I try to write one in the morning like this. So the letters should keep on rolling in.

That book I was reading was "College Bound". It didn't say anything I haven't heard before, but it did help me think a little. I guess if I wanted to apply for entrance to school in September I would have to apply by January sometime. That would mean at least starting the ball rolling while I'm still here. I don't want to hassle with these Air Force dudes here in Da Nang. They really don't want to help unless you're Air Force. We've got an education center in Long Thanh. I've never been in it.  From what I hear the education officer can be a pretty big help. I want to find out about the GI bill and how to apply for that too. Can't live without money. Well, I'll be checking into all that as soon as I get the chance.

I missed the movie at the main compound yesterday. I'll catch it at 1 o'clock today. Saw 'the Statue' at the RPI yesterday evening. I've got O'Briant in my room now and things are a little more peaceful.

That's the good news for today. More tonight.

Rick
