Dear Folks,

Hello from another "Garden Spot." We arrive here about 7:30 and had supper at the NCO club. In case your looking at a map, we're about half way between Saigon and Da Nang.

We probably won't be flying. They are pulling some troops back from somewhere near here. We're standing by just in case. I hear we may be leaving as early as tomorrow morning.

This seems like a pretty nice place. They say the last time they were hit was Sept. 21st. The buildings around here look like they were built by the French. The place we are staying in is really nice for a change. I hope we can stay a while and enjoy it . We've got tile floor and real good lighting and we've got a hot shower with flush toilets attached right at the room. You can't beat that for service.

As usual this all had to happen on a week-end. We never get any rest.

Sal fer now,

Rick
