8 am
Dear Folks,
Just got back from the mess hall. I go over there at 5 am and stay till 7:30 am. Then I'm off till 11 am. Lunch ends at 1 pm. And Supper is from 4 pm to 6:30 pm.
It's not a bad job for my last week of so. But there are just as many lifer cooks as there are lifer maintenance NCO's. They keep yelling about the way people dress in the mess hall. I'm not supposed to let them in if they're not dressed right. I let a guy in yesterday with cut off fatigue pants and a tee shirt. They almost went through the ceiling. But I don't care. 18 days ETS.
I may send my two black lights and an envelope with my power squadron magazines this morning.
