My garden reeks of bugs and weeds
And all the weeds have gone to seed.
My garden choirs fell off the list
Hoeing and watering and weeding were missed.
I take full credit for the flop.
And for all the chores that I did not.
I tip my hat to the white-tailed deer
who ate my peppers and striped corn ears.
