Dear Folks,

Another beautiful day in Vietnam. Today is a day off. Haven't figured out yet why they brought us back here. Could be that they need some detail people. If they start messing with us too much we'll have to complain. They have people up a Da Nang doing our job who are from other units not connected with these relay missions. We'll have to wait and see what happens down this way first. Can't outguess these crazy army minds.

I'd like to get some of my civilian clothes over here. I don't know what it would cost to mail them, but if it's not too much here's what I'd like to have: some dungarees and if you can find the pair I cut off for shorts I'd like them too, a belt, one or two of those colored t-shirts, blue tennis shoes and hush puppies. I don't remember having any short sleeve dress shirts that fit, so just send that light blue long sleeve one. And see if you can find the pair of fatigue pants with the hole in the leg, the right one I think. I'll cut them off for shorts too.

Give my new address to the Power Squadron if you get the chance. So much for now, hope to be getting some mail soon.

Rick
