Dear Folks,

Our mess hall is really a mess hall now. Had a red alert this morning about 4:30 am. Took a few rockets inside 37th Signal compound here. Blew the insides out of half the mess hall and some window out of building nearby. Put a nice hole in the sidewalk too. That's about 75 yds. from our tent. Too close for comfort I'd say. If it weren't for the building between us and the mess hall  this tent would be full of little holes. I wasn't around for all the fun though. I was in the air. Went up at 3 am and didn't get down till 8 am. Didn't even know it happened till somebody mentioned it to me. Took a few pictures to finish off that roll of slide film. I'm going to take it to Gunfighter PX now.

Well that's the story of the day. I fly again at 11 tonight.

Rick
