Dear Folks,

It has been a hot one today and the mosquitoes are coming in for the kill. The club was so crowded this evening I couldn't find a seat. So I've spent the time reading the magazines I got in the mail today. Also got two packages today from you and Mrs. Karwacki. All those cashews look delicious. The toilet paper was just in time for the Sunday evening shortage.

We had two planes go south today loaded with some kind of telephone cable. I helped to load them this afternoon and that was the extent of my 'work' for today.

We're supposed to go back on station tomorrow. They want two ships in the air at 7 in the morning. Nobody seems to know why they want two. I guess we'll find out when we get out there tomorrow.

Didn't get any letters today, just the magazines and packages. Time now for some midnight chow.

Rick
