Well, it's back to work tomorrow. We started flying again at 6 am in support of the 1st Brigade 5th Infantry (Mechanized), that's the unit Tom Ward is with. We haven't made a schedule yet so I don't know when I'm going to fly. I don't know how long this mission is supposed to last either.

No mail again today. There is a plane supposed to arrive up here at about 10 tonight with a crew chief on it. Maybe they will bring the mail with them.

It has been sunny and hot again today. Went to the movie at the main compound this afternoon with Duff. Saw "Alice's Restaurant."

The Air Force mess hall didn't have their hot dogs and beans today. Had steak and baked potato instead. I'd rather have the hot dogs.

They ran out of coke at the RPI this evening. So I had to drink 7-UP instead. There was a pretty good band there tonight. I stayed till about 9 pm. And came back and caught the last half of Bonanza on TV.

The PX was out of fans when I went there yesterday. Got a couple books today at the Stars and Stripes Book store on the main compound. "Vietnam: A political history," and Street Without Joy which is another military history of Vietnam.

Well, I guess that's it for now. Hope somebody was on the ball and remembered to tell the mail clerk about that flight tonight.

Rick
