Dear Folks,

I made all kinds of progress today. Then I started going in reverse. I'd fix one thing and something else would go bad. I got the stuff I asked for. O'Briant brought it up about nine this morning. Didn't have much civilian 'help' this morning and I was alone this afternoon. At one point today I had all but one of the banks working, but as I said things started going wrong. When I left there were two banks that didn't work.

It could be worse I guess but I'll have to work extra hard so maybe they'll be ready to go tomorrow. Then I'll try to convince Capt. Kinzel to let me come back to get paid.

I got another batch of mail today dated up to the 22nd. The next batch should have some Snow Hill postmarks.

I got my flight records today. According to them I have 57 hours flight time since February. That's wrong of course. I can see the dates they missed, but I doubt if there is anything I can do about it. As long as I get my flight pay each month I guess it doesn't matter.

You asked a few questions about Vung Tau. It's a pretty big place. Not quite as big as Da Nang. At least the army part of it. I haven't been downtown. They say it's pretty modernized and built up. They've got a couple different beaches and an in-country R&R center like Da Nang. All in all, it stinks. I wanna go home.

Rick
