Dear Folks,
I don't remember writing today, so I guess I'd better catch up. Now that I think about it I don't remember writing yesterday either.
Yesterday must have been Thanksgiving Day because the mess hall was all decorated and they served turkey.
I was going to fly today but there weren't any seats available. So I'll try again tomorrow.
I found out the other day that I am authorized to wear the Air Medal. The way this unit works I may never get the medal, but I did see the orders for it and I copied down the number. I never did hear any more about that ARCOM. I saw the orders for it back in April but I haven't heard any more since then. I think you have to see the officer in charge of awards as part of your out processing so maybe I'll find out then.
