Dear Folks,

Another day gone. Got up at 5 am this morning. I am now the headcount for the mess hall. It's not a bad detail. You only have to be there during meals to collect the money from the officers and civilians and make sure everybody signs the meal roster.

Still have plenty of sham time in between meals to catch some sun and start packing.

They'll probably try to make me work in the hanger in between meals but I think I can get out of it.

Saw Seacord this morning. He got his orders finally. He's going to Fort Lewis, Washington. His DEROS is Dec. 14th.

By the end of December this place is going to be empty. All kinds of people are leaving. I'll be sort of by myself though. Everybody else leaves around the middle of the month.

We had a surprise urinalysis test last night. I must have drank about 2 gallons of orange juice.

Gettin' shorter.

Rick
