Dear Folks,

Just got back from the post office. Mailed off two more boxes. One with the USAFI course and one with the cassette player and some books. I've got one more box all packed up with my radio in it. I use that camouflage shirt as part of the packing. Also in the box are some civilian clothes and about 10 paperback books. I think I'll mail the radio this afternoon. That should just about do it for sending things home. All I have is my camera, suitcases and the crazy guitar. I may give up and leave that thing here.

Moss left yesterday. Seacord is supposed to start clearing tomorrow. That means he has about 2 days to clear and he'll probably go to the 90th replacement on the 11th.

If they work it that way for me I should get my clearing papers on the 19th and leave here on the 21st and go to Long Binh. After that it's just a matter of how long it takes to get manifested on a flight. They usually have you out on your DEROS date. When you first get to 90th Replacement in Long Binh you take another urinalysis and it takes a day or two to get the results back. They won't manifest you till they get the results back.

Guess that's about it for now. Got two letters yesterday.

Rick
