Dear Folks,

Just had a monsoon. Started pouring the minute I stepped out of the shower.  Just made it back in time or I would have had two showers.

Capt. Kinzel and Bevans came up today with the parts I asked for. Would you believe neither one of them brought my mail? They said they remembered it when they landed here. A little too late.

Had a good day at the radios today. We now have three banks working. We came upon something that had to be soldered today and all of the sudden my civilian friends disappeared. So I ended up soldering it myself. Right after I finished they mysteriously reappeared.

Bevans said he would be back tomorrow with the mail.

I've got a funny feeling they may start sending the rest of the banks up from Long Thanh even before we're finished on the ones we have here now. That could mean I may never get out of here.

I complained to Kinzel about having to stay up here. He said, "Just think of all that TDY money you'll be getting." Yeah, phooey!

Rick
