Dear Folks,

Had the day off for a change. No radio relay or anything. It was a good day to be off too.

We had two shows at the club today. This afternoon there was a USO show. A couple of nice round-eyed girls and crazy guys put on a good show for about an hour. Then this evening we had a genuine zip-eyed gook band from the Philippines. They were loud, but that's about all I can say for them.

Not much else happening today. A lot of drunks walking around, because of all the activity at the club today.

We've got a formation tomorrow, but this is a special one to give us new meal cards that say 1st Signal instead of 2nd Signal.

No mail again today.

Rick
